Alexander Ivlev is Country Managing Partner for Russia. In his role, Alexander focuses on the development of Ernst & Young's business in Russia and coordinates the further expansion of its practice.
In addition to his other responsibilities, Alexander Ivlev coordinates cooperation with foreign investors under the Foreign Investment Advisory Council in Russia, and the Entrepreneur of the Year (EOY) program in the CIS. This program promotes entrepreneurship around the world by recognizing the achievements and contributions of outstanding entrepreneurs.
Alexander Ivlev joined Ernst & Young Moscow in 1995. Prior to his appointments as Country Managing Partner for Russia, he held the position of CIS Accounts and Industries Leader.
Alexander Ivlev has over 15 years of experience in business development, client relations and the provision of high-quality services to clients. In 2004, the Russian Association of Managers nominated Alexander as the best Corporate Affairs Director among professional services firms in Russia in its Top 1000 Russian Managers rating. He subsequently received this recognition for four consecutive years.
In 2003, Ivlev received an MBA from the University of Chicago School of Business. He is Chairman of the Russian Advisory Board of the US-Russia Center of Entrepreneurship and the US-Russia Investment Fund and a Member of the Russian Business Academy Award “Aristos”. In 2007, he was named Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum, and in 2008 he was included in the Russian President’s Top 100 Managerial Pool. Has publications and interviews in the Russian media. Speaks English and French. Enjoys tennis, music, travelling.
