Ernst & Young Alumni Party 2012
Dear Hussars, Dear Alumni!
There is hardly anything more exciting than meeting friends that you have not seen for a while. On June 14, we were glad to host the traditional Ernst & Young and Andersen Alumni Party in Moscow.
The EY Alumni Club in Moscow has held annual gatherings since 2003, and each and every meeting is a specially organized event. This year, it was devoted to the opening of the new ‘Hussars’ Club’ on the roof of our Avrora building. The whole ‘upper terrace’ was decorated as a XlX century Moscow estate with areas for various types of entertainment for hussars and their fair ladies: horse riding; shooting; fancy hats making; art gallery; artist’s studio for portraits and silhouettes; and of course photo studio for costume photography. Many of guests saw themselves on those photos as heroes of famous battles or of famous novels.
Welcome speeches were made by Alexander Ivlev, Country managing partner for Russia; Alexei Ivanov, President of Moscow Alumni Club and Vadim Mikhailov, Head of Advisory practice in the CIS in 2003 – 2009, now RZD Senior-Vice President. That party featured many fun events which allowed the guests to: listen to the songs from popular films about hussars; watch drum show; and compete for good awards and fame. It was a truly fantastic party!
Each year we have people who worked at EY and Andersen in 90-s, in ‘zero’ years and now we started counting 10s years of the 21 century. Time does fly! But the Alumni Club helps to keep ties with our firm’s friends and our former colleagues. Good start has been made for the Ernst & Young Moscow Alumni Facebook group. If you are registered at Facebook – you can join the group and be in touch with the Club’s activities. Photos are really amazing and tell for themselves!
