EY's Circle of Friends
Our traditional EY Alumni Party was held on 26 June 2014. For many years now, we have welcomed friends and colleagues that we know from EY and Andersen at an annual party in Moscow.
This year our theme was "EY's Circle of Friends." Throughout the evening our guests took a multicultural journey, visiting Ukraine, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia as well as mysterious Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. They were treated to genuine Uzbek pilaf and invited to join in a tea ceremony, games and raffles and a master class in wildflower weaving. The program included toastmaster and folk rhyme competitions, a children's chorus, a Lezghinka dance competition, commemorative coins embossed with EY's logo, an exotic oriental belly-dancer and nine doves released from the rooftop terrace of our Moscow office as a symbol of harmony and peace among the nine CIS countries with EY offices. It was a celebration that our guests will long remember!
This year we celebrated a milestone in our history: EY's twenty-fifth anniversary in the CIS. We took souvenir photos against the background of our new logo and the interactive "Circle of Friends" wall and took part in an Instagram photo contest. In special areas, representatives of HR and the EY Academy of Business spoke about new initiatives and discounts as well as training and seminars that guests could register for on the spot. Our thanks to all those who joined us at this year's Alumni Party; we hope you enjoyed the program. You can relive the evening by viewing our video and photo gallery.
We look forward to hearing from you; your comments and opinions are important to us! And keep an eye out for news in EY’s Moscow Alumni Club community on Facebook. If you haven't yet joined the group, we invite you to do so!
