New appointments in the Ernst & Young’s CIS Advisory practice

Moscow, 8 September 2010. — Today, Ernst & Young, a global assurance and advisory leader, announced the expansion of its Advisory practice in the CIS as well as the appointment of new partners. The following partners have been appointed: Alexander Barinov, an experienced advisor in Finance; Ivan Butyagin, who has many years of experience in the area of consumer products; Alexander Gorsky, who specializes in retail; Nikolay Zuykov, an experienced advisor concerning the oil & gas industry; Andrei Kouzmine, who has many years of experience in advising businesses on strategic directions; Denis Grishin, who has rich experience in the supply chain area.

With these new partners Ernst & Young has significantly expanded its Advisory practice to meet the needs of the CIS businesses to be competitive and build world class companies in the recovered markets and respond effectively to new opportunities. New partners’ responsibilities will include developing key industry expertise in the Performance Improvement area, which will help Ernst & Young achieve new competitive advantages through the leadership in professional knowledge, resources and client service. The main goal of this enlarged team will be to connect global best practices and local businesses to raise their effectiveness, profitability and production.
