EY wins two prestigious awards
MOSCOW, 30 October 2012 – EY has been named the International Advisory Firm of the Year in Russia in 2012 and the Taxpayer of the Year.
During the Russia PE Awards ceremony at the 4th Russian Private Equity Congress, EY was named the International Advisory Firm of the Year in 2012. The congress is the key event for the PE and VC industry in Russia and the CIS, a traditional meeting place for PE and VC funds, institutional investors, real economy businesses, investment banks, and leading legal and advisory service providers. The congress included panel sessions, which centered on the attractiveness of Russia for global PE&VC investors, and discussions of investment strategies and alternative investment proposals. This year, the congress had over 120 participants.
In addition, the Kompaniya Weekly named EY the Taxpayer of the Year. EY LLC makes sure it has no outstanding tax and duty payments, and guarantees the timely payment of salaries. In 2011, EY paid 40% more taxes (key taxes: profits tax, VAT, PIT) as well as insurance premiums to state non-budgetary funds year on year. The Firm of the Year Awards ceremony is held annually. This year, the jury had to pick the best from more than 1,500 nominees.
