St. Petersburg International Economic Forum
Ernst & Young is actively involved in the work of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, one of the major economic events in Russia and the international community. The Forum's participants include the leaders of major international corporations and Russian companies, international delegations, government officials, including the President of the Russian Federation, and heads of regions.
IFRSs in Russia and the CIS
Each year at the "IFRSs in Russia and the CIS" international conference, Ernst & Young brings together members of the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB), local regulators, large entities that report using IFRS, and financial analysts. The conference addresses issues related to the importance of the transition to IFRS and the state of readiness of Russian companies for such transition, recent trends, regulation and supervision aspects, and practical application guidance.
