General industry compensation and benefits survey 2009/2010

We are pleased to present the ninth edition of the Russia General Industry Compensation & Benefits Survey, prepared by Ernst & Young’s Human Capital group.


Update of information on salary levels

To provide you with up-to-date information on salary levels, we have updated cash compensation data as of January 2010 based on the information on planned salary changes, which has been provided by the Survey participants for each job. The Russian labour market is still affected by the world financial crisis, and up-to-date information on salary levels is of vital importance.


Participants

This year, 184 companies of different industries, both Russian and international, have taken part in the “General Industry Compensation and Benefits Survey 2009/2010”.


Regional coverage 

Salary data is represented in the report with a breakdown by the following 12 regions: Moscow, Moscow Region, St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region, Central Russia, South, North-West, North, Volga, Urals, Western Siberia, Eastern Siberia and Far East.

For your convenience, we included in the survey also remuneration data in Moscow with a breakdown by the sales volume: remuneration levels of companies with an annual sales volume of over USD 500 mln and separately of companies with an annual sales volume of less than USD 500 mln.


Substance of the survey

The survey provides information on:

  • Salary levels and variable pay levels for 300 general industry jobs;
  • Actual salary increases for 2009FY and planned changes for 2010FY;
  • Information on benefits;
  • HR policies and practices;
  • Key issues in HR management in Russia.

This year, we added a section containing information on headcount optimization measures.


Industry reports

This year, we would like to offer you specialized industry reports prepared on the basis of the data of the ”General Industry Compensation & Benefits Survey 2009/2010” for the following industries:

  • Banking and Financial Industry
  • FMCG 
  • IT / Telecommunications
  • Hospitality sector
  • Insurance

The industry report includes remuneration data for cross-industry and industry-specific jobs, as well as information regarding benefits and HR  policies and practices specific for the selected industry.

Industry reports are provided in printed and electronic versions in Adobe (pdf) format on CD.


Profiled data cuts

We also offer you the possibility to order a profiled data cut on the data of the survey participants (based on the sample of at least 10 companies) or a selected region (city) in accordance with your requirements on the basis of the "General Industry Compensation & Benefits Survey 2009/2010" data.


Pricing
 

The price of one copy of the Ernst & Young "General Industry Compensation & Benefits Survey 2009/2010" is as follows:

  • Rubles 80,000 excluding VAT for a monolingual version (Russian or English);
  • Rubles 88,000 excluding VAT for a bilingual version (Russian and English).

The delivery service outside the city of Moscow is charged separately.

Together with the survey, you will receive a copy of "Job Description  Manual and Organisation Structure" used for the purposes of the survey.

The final report is provided in printed and electronic versions in Adobe (pdf) format on CD.


Price of an industry report

  • Rubles 105,000 excluding VAT for a monolingual version (Russian or English);
  • Rubles 113,000 excluding VAT for a bilingual version (Russian and English).
