The role of the audit committee has never been more demanding, and scrutiny by investors and regulators never more stringent.
This issue, we share the key issues that concern Audit Committees in Europe, which could have similar implications locally. These include engagement with external auditors, audit quality, board-level response to growing cyber threats and risk governance.
Similarly, financial institutions are tightening focus on their risk governance framework but challenges remain to embed risk into business decisions. Our latest survey conducted with the Institute of International Finance has more. In addition, banks are heading to 10 of the most rapidly-growing markets for growth, where retail and wealth management potential is rising.
Also, we share two reports highlighting how companies are optimizing their capital in Europe, and the mining and metals industry. We also look at some of the top development priorities for the governments and businesses in Asia, India and Africa.
Lastly, join us at our seminars as we discuss the recent tax changes that will affect almost all Singapore companies with cross-border operations, among others.
