“One of the reasons for joining Ernst & Young as a new graduate was the opportunity to work abroad. So it was natural for me that after collecting sufficient experience in the first two years, I decided to apply for our New Horizons program. I chose Russia because I wanted to practice my Russian but also to experience Russian culture and Moscow as one of the megacities. What I expected and why the stay abroad was of a great value to me was that I saw what it is like to work in another office, I had a chance to compare different approaches to work and learn something new from the international tax perspective. Thanks to my stay I met new people but I have to say I also improved my communication skills and gained new business networks.
