Mark OttyMark Otty
Area Managing Partner
Mark was the Area Managing Partner for Northern Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (NEMIA) from July 2006 to June 2008. Mark is a South African and his career has spanned multiple disciplines and locations. Having joined Ernst & Young as an audit trainee, he has held leadership roles and served clients in the fields of Corporate Finance, Tax and Business Advisory in South Africa, Canada and the UK.

Christoph was the Central Europe (CE) Area Managing Partner from October 2006 to June 2008. Christoph joined Ernst & Young as Deputy Country Managing Partner and Chief Operating Office of our German practice following the combination with Andersen in 2002. Christoph, who has also worked in the US, spent two years leading our Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) practice in Germany and CE, and has experience supporting businesses in the emerging markets of Eastern Europe and the CIS.

Jay Nibbe

Until 30 June Jay was Americas Vice Chair – Tax for the Americas Tax practice. Previously, Jay served as the Americas Tax Managing Partner – Area Practices and Client Service. During that time he led the implementation of the Tax practice’s market strategy and focus on Priority Accounts. Before that, Jay served as the Tax Managing Partner in the Mid-West Sub-Area. He also has extensive global experience, having led the Tax practice at the Ernst & Young member firm in Russia for four years.

Area People
Karen was previously the People leader for CE AABS and Ernst & Young Germany. She was a member of the Global People Executive Committee from 2003-2005, and has participated in many global People projects, including the development of GPPM, competency models and learning.

Olivier BreillotOlivier Breillot
Area Q&RM
Olivier was most recently the CWE Q&RM leader and a member of the Q&RM Global Executive Committee. He has worked in both AABS and TAS over many years, serving clients in the Oil and Gas sector, as well as in other industry sectors. He has also worked in the US.

Pascal MaciocePascal Macioce
Assurance
Pascal was previously the CWE AABS leader and a member of the Global AABS Executive Committee. He has worked with several leading global clients in the Utilities, Oil and Gas and Aerospace sectors, providing advice in the assurance and transaction support areas.

Norman LonerganNorman Lonergan
Advisory
Norman is our EMEIA Advisory leader. He is also the Global Advisory leader. Norman has held Advisory leadership roles since he joined EY in 2006. He has many years of client service experience and has worked with a number of major clients including AXA-Sunlife (UK), Unilver and Aviva.

Stephan KuhnStephan Kuhn
Tax
Stephan was most recently the CE Tax Leader and a member of the Global Tax Executive Committee. His clients are in the Banking and Capital Markets and Asset Management sectors, where he provides transaction and international tax advice.

Dave ReadDave Read
TAS
Dave was previously the Global TAS leader and a member of the firm's Global Executive. He has lived and worked in the UK, Germany and the Middle East, and has extensive experience working on major accounts and transactions. Dave has led the development of our TAS business globally for the past three years.

Scott has been with Ernst & Young since 1982, working in the US, the UK, Australia and Kuwait. Currently UK & Ireland Sub Area Managing Partner (SAMP), Scott serves in a Senior Advisory Partner capacity on several Office of the Chairman and Global Priority Accounts.

After serving as Global Managing Partner – CS&A, Tom was appointed as NEMIA CS&A and AABS leader. Tom has also previously served as Global Vice Chair for AABS; prior to that he was AABS Managing Partner for our New York Financial Services Office. Tom is currently serving in a Senior Advisory Partner capacity on several Office of the Chairman and Global Priority Accounts.

Formerly CE CS&A leader, Georg joined Ernst & Young as Markets leader in 2002. In 2005, Georg took over the role of CE CS&A leader. With extensive experience in the automotive and industrial and consumer products sectors, Georg currently serves in a Senior Advisory Partner capacity on several Office of the Chairman and Global Priority Accounts.

Pieter is Sub-Area Managing Partner for BeNe. Pieter joined EY in 1982 and became a partner in 1992. He has worked as an auditor for top national and international clients. In 2003 he became Chairman of the Accountancy Partnership and a member of the Board of Directors of Ernst & Young Netherlands. He has been Assurance & Advisory Business Services (AABS) leader in the former Central Europe Area since 2005 and is Chief Operating Officer of the EMEIA AABS Board.

Torstein is Nordics SAMP and Managing Partner of Ernst & Young Norway. Torstein has been with Ernst & Young since 1975. As leader of the Norwegian practice Torstein has been very involved in developing and successfully implementing our People strategy.

Jean Pierre LetratreJean-Pierre Letartre

Jean-Pierre joined Ernst & Young in 1985. In 1986, he created the Lille office and has headed up the French Strategic Growth Market practice since 1994, becoming a board Director of Ernst & Young France in 2000 and of the SEE in 2005. He is a member of the MEDEF (the French business association made up of the senior management of all the top French firms), he also heads the Entrepreneur of the Year Award Program in France and is co-founder of the French “Entrepreneur’s Day” Association.

Mediterranean
Pellegrino is Mediterranean SAMP and has been Managing Partner of Ernst & Young Italy since 2005. He joined Ernst & Young in 1981. Together with the CEO of some major Italian companies, he is a member of the board of Bocconi University Foundation, which oversees the implementation of the university's strategic plan.

Formerly Southeast Europe SAMP, Christos is also CWE TAS leader as well as leading the Area's infrastructure team. A partner since 1984, Christos has been Ernst & Young Greece Country Managing Partner since 1992 and led the creation our Southeast Europe Sub-Area. He has been involved in many engagements as a Transaction Support partner in Greece and Southeast Europe and in post-transaction integration.

Ahmed Al AibanAhmed Al-Aiban
Middle East
Ahmed is Middle East SAMP. With extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, Ahmed joined Ernst & Young in 1982 from Kuwait National Petroleum. He joined the partnership in 1983 and was appointed Kuwait Office Managing Partner in 1991. A CPA, he also works across Financial Services and International Tax. Currently based in Bahrain, Ahmed has worked in Kuwait and Spain.

CIS
The CIS SAMP, Karl has broad experience in multinational accounts and the coordination of international tax engagements, M&A and due diligence projects in key global markets. In addition to advising senior members of the Russian Government on issues affecting foreign investment, he has been a member of the Emerging Europe Business Council and Corporate Governance Task Force of the World Economic Forum, as well as the Foreign Investment Advisory Councils of Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Latvia.

Africa
The SAMP for Africa, Philip is also South Africa CMP, with extensive experience in Financial Services, mining and telecommunications. Under Philip's leadership, Ernst & Young South Africa has championed a number of diversity and inclusiveness programs.

Rajiv MemaniRajiv Memani
India
The Indian SAMP, Rajiv is a qualified Chartered Accountant with experience in Assurance, Tax and Corporate Finance. Rajiv established Ernst & Young India's TAS practice in the late 1990s and, since 2002, Ernst & Young India has been named by Bloomberg as the M&A leader in India based on the number of transactions. Rajiv is affiliated with a number of prominent business and industry associations, including the World Economic Forum’s New Asian Leaders.
