| A debate to launch the CBI’s approach for excellence in education as part of a commitment by business to campaign for raising ambition for all in schools. Education is the most important long-term priority for the UK and the session considers the obligation of business to set out what is needed from the UK’s schools system so that every young person is positioned for success in life and work. The panellists will discuss the vision and purpose of UK education and debate how we can achieve excellent outcomes through inspirational teaching and leadership, setting clear expectations, better engaging parents and communities and ensuring there is rigour in every aspect of school life.
