Visit the EY Careers Guide to help you make the right career choice: it's an introduction to the world of careers, your options and the skills you need to succeed.

At Ernst & Young, your ingenuity, ideas and expertise will help our clients improve the way they work. You’ll be part of an international business, working with a variety of organisations.
It’s a given that you’ll collaborate with interesting people from all sorts of backgrounds. At the same time, we’ll help you make the most of your natural strengths and talent to take yourself, our business and our clients from strength to strength.
It’s about working together, spotting opportunities and – sometimes – asking difficult questions. But most of all it’s about using your initiative and embracing an entrepreneurial spirit to help determined organisations realise their ambitions.
If you have the ambition to build a successful career we can give you all the help you need. Up for the challenge? Ernst & Young could be the place for you.
Location doesn’t stop us assembling the best team we can for every project. That means your work could regularly cross borders.
This is about you. It’s about doing what you’re good at, sharing experiences and having colleagues you can turn to for support.
We help ambitious clients find new ways to do things. That means we have to think creatively and find new angles on old problems.
At Ernst & Young, our work crosses borders so often that we barely notice when it happens. In fact, when we assemble a team, we choose the most appropriate individuals – no matter where they’re located.
This means that you’ll have plenty of opportunity to get to know people from different cultures and backgrounds – and experience what it’s like to work with organisations in different countries.

We work hard to create an inclusive, receptive environment where everyone’s contribution is valued. Here’s your chance to be an important part of it.
Attracting the most talented people – if you’re a high-performing individual, we’ll give you the tools and knowledge you need to reach your potential while helping our clients achieve theirs.
Creating an inclusive environment – you’ll be welcomed, your point of view will be heard and your contributions will be valued.
Offering great development opportunities – from formal training and qualifications to continuous learning, we’ll provide the support you need to progress your career quickly.
Providing flexibility and recognition – everyone has different aspirations, so we’ll make sure you have everything you need to fulfil yours.
Although each of our clients are different, they tend to have some things in common. They are often ambitious companies who are not afraid to try new things and take calculated risks. They like exploring new areas and entering new markets – often aggressively.
It takes a certain attitude to help these organisations. Flair, get-up-and-go, natural leadership qualities... it can be hard to describe, but you know it when you see it.
When you work for us, you’ll learn how to assess risks and understand how far to push things. You’ll be ready if events don’t go quite as predicted, and ready to jump on the new opportunities such situations tend to create.
It’s an exciting way to do business – it may be unpredictable and challenging, but when it’s all going well you’ll have a real sense of fulfilment.
We're as proud of our awards as we are of our client work – they're a chance to recognise and celebrate our achievements. Our awards in 2012 include:

We are extremely proud to come 1st in this annual Workplace Equality Index that showcases the UK's top 100 public and private sector employers for gay, lesbian, and bisexual staff. We also topped Stonewall's inaugural 'Global Best Practice Index' and the EY Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Network (EYGLES) was again named a Stonewall 'Star Performer Network Group'.

We are proud to be listed as one of The Times Top 50 Employers for Women 2012. This recognition reflects the great work the firm is doing to promote gender diversity – we also have the greatest proportion of UK female partners of the Big 4 professional services firms in 2012. It also recognises the contribution made by the EY Women's Network, who provide development opportunities for their members and engage successfully with our clients and the wider community.

We have received a BITC Big Tick Award in the 'ways2work category'. This focuses on our sustainable travel strategy and how it connects with flexible working. They commended us particularly for our levels of commitment, use of new technologies, active feedback mechanisms and clear regular communication with our stakeholders.

We have been nominated again this year as one of the Times Top 100 graduate employers – rating 8th.
