At EY, we’re committed to finding and supporting the aspiring leaders of tomorrow – people who have already demonstrated they’ve got the strengths required to reach the very top. That’s why we have had experts in leadership development create a course for this very purpose.
Our three-day Leadership Academy offers those with real talent the chance to shine. We team you up with some of our sharpest business minds to learn from their experiences.
Make no mistake: this is a demanding environment that will stretch and challenge you. As a result, it’s not for everyone. The tasks you are set might be about exercising your logic, or inspiring a team of people into action. But we can promise that it will make you question how you work; how you approach making decisions; and how you work with others. In short, it’ll give you a unique insight into how to use your strengths to go as far as you care to go.
If successful, you’ll join an elite group of students with access to opportunities that are among the best available. It’s a unique chance – personally and professionally – to hone the strengths you already have, and to take the first steps in a career that can go as far as you want it to.
Your direct route to becoming an effective leader
We know that business never stands still. And it will succeed only with strong leaders who possess the energy, ideas and commitment to drive things forward, especially in today’s tough climate.
Every day brings a new challenge that puts leadership strengths firmly to the test. And our Leadership Academy is just the same. The three-day residential course is a hugely stimulating and rewarding experience for the people invited to attend. Just ask any of the students who have taken part previously.

"The depth and intensity of the course make it a must for anyone looking to become a future business leader."
"I've learnt more about myself in the last 3 days than I have during my last year at university."
"A fantastic experience. I feel honoured to have been accepted on to the programme."
Mary Kennedy, the Course Leader, adds:
"The Leadership Academy is designed to identify and support the leaders of tomorrow, based on the latest thinking in leadership development and the requirements of an increasingly complex global business environment. We've taken a bold approach in giving high performing students the opportunity to understand their unique strengths, what motivates and excites them and how they can influence others. Participants engage with like-minded peers and walk away with the skills and confidence to accelerate their career."
What does it mean to be a successful leader? The ability to see things from a number of perspectives? The insight, confidence and drive to act decisively?
Today’s leaders need all of this and more. To prove that you're ready to be one of tomorrow's leaders, you'll need to show us that you have some special qualities and to make the very most of them. We're much more interested in the kind of person you are than what degree you're studying. But as you’d expect, the course is only open to those who meet some minimum requirements.
You'll need at least:
How do I apply?

If it all goes well, you'll be invited to a 30-minute telephone interview. We'll be aiming to discover your individual strengths, leadership potential and career motivation. It's also your chance to learn more about us.
