Leadership Academy

At Ernst & Young, we’re committed to helping find and support aspiring leaders of tomorrow. People who have already demonstrated they’ve got the strengths required to reach the very top. It’s why we’ve created an environment for this to happen.

Our three-day Leadership Academy offers those with real talent the chance to shine. We’ll team you up with some of our sharpest business minds to learn from their experiences.
Make no mistake: this is a demanding environment that will push you out of your comfort zone. As a result, it’s not for everyone. You’ll be set tasks that will stretch and challenge you. It might be about exercising your logic, or inspiring a team of people into action. But we can promise that it will make you question how you work. How you approach making decisions. How you work with others. In short, it’ll give you a unique insight into how to use your strengths to reach the top.

The Leadership Academy is a full-time three-day course. Our Easter Academy will be running on Monday 25 March - Thursday 28 March 2013. There are limited places available so apply early.

If successful, you’ll join an elite group of students with access to an opportunity that we believe is among the best around. It’s a unique chance – personally and professionally – to hone the strengths you’ve already got and push your career forward.

Do you have what it takes for the journey ahead?

What does it mean to be a successful leader? An ability to see things from a number of perspectives? The insight, confidence and drive to act decisively?

Today’s leaders need all of this. And more. To prove that you're ready to be one of tomorrow's leaders, you'll need to show us that you have some special qualities. We're much more interested in the kind of person you are than what degree you're studying. But as you’d expect, the course is only open to those who meet some minimum requirements.

You'll need at least:

• A predicted 2:1 degree in any subject.
• At least 340 UCAS points (not counting General Studies or re-sits)
• Grade B or above for GCSE Mathematics and English Language (or equivalent)

How do I apply?

Applications are now open for the Leadership Academy programme which will run Monday 25 March - Thursday 28 March 2013. Places are limited, so please ensure you get your application in no later than Friday 18 January 2013.

You’ll need to complete our online application form and Strengths Assessment (we’ll send you the link when you’ve submitted your online application form.

Here’s what happens after you’ve submitted your application:

You will be asked to take our online numerical, verbal and abstract reasoning tests.

If it all goes well, you'll be invited to a 30 minute interview. We'll be aiming to discover your individual strengths, leadership potential and career motivation. It's also your chance to learn more about us.

Please note that whilst we are usually only able to accept one application per candidate within a 12 month period, this does not apply to candidates who have applied to the Leadership Academy. Candidates are able to apply to any one of our other programmes within the twelve month period if they are unsuccessful.
