Real Estate, Hospitality & Construction Assurance services

Built upon deep sector experience, our Assurance service provides confidence to investors and other stakeholders by giving clear and robust views to audit committees focused on the key risks.

Our combined real estate, hospitality and construction assurance practice uses the natural synergies between the sectors to deliver an enriched service.

  • Real Estate

Our real estate assurance practice works with a cross section of entities operating in the real estate sector, including REITs, private companies, funds and major corporates.

Our clients operate as investors, developers or traders of real estate, and manage asset classes including commercial offices, retail, shopping centres, logistical warehouses and residential.

Our strong local credentials are supplemented globally.

We audit five of the world’s ten largest REITs, and, with our European network, are very active in real estate funds operating on a pan-European basis. We also work with a large number of private entities solely focussed on the central London office and residential markets.

  • Hospitality

Our hospitality assurance practice works with a range of global and local clients operating across the Hotel, Betting & Gaming and Pubs & Restaurant sectors.

Our clients range from the largest global hotel groups through to standalone individual properties, with a variety of business models, from owner operators to management companies. Increasingly our clients have a significant online presence.

We have outstanding assurance credentials in the FTSE 250 Hospitality sector and the 2013 Russell 3000 index.

A particular area of focus over the past year and in the near future for many of our clients has been preparation for IFRS / New UK GAAP conversion, and we have supported a number of our more complex clients through this.
