Ernst & Young chairs Smart Metering Update
Richard Postance, Head of Smart Energy UK, Ernst & Young chaired the day, joined by Senior executives, policy makers, regulators and figures from the big 6 energy generators all looking to keep in touch with the evolving and shifting landscape of Smart Metering in the UK.
Highlights included an update from Rob Turner, Programme director, DECC on the development of the Data Communication Company (DCC) as he explained the pivotal role the DCC will play in both the procurement and management of smart metering data and communications services.
