EY ranked in top ten in the 2013 Working Families benchmark.

EY has been recognised as one of the top ten employers in the UK for working families in the 2013 Working Families benchmark.

The benchmark, which has been run since 2009, is a measure of how companies promote flexible working and implement family friendly policies.

EY has a number of initiatives aimed at supporting working families including an employee network for parents. The network runs seminars and workshops designed around issues affecting working parents and offers a forum for sharing experiences.

EY also has a maternity coaching programme for all individuals taking maternity, adoption or additional paternity leave from the firm. Maternity coaching supports individuals reintegrate into the workplace through helping maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, exploring work patterns, and developing a network of support and increasing the sense of connection to the business.

Liz Bingham, EY UK & Ireland Managing Partner - Talent, said: “To have been benchmarked by Working Families as being one of the UK’s top employers is a real achievement. It is testament to our focus on promoting a truly flexible workplace.

“Our people are our biggest asset and giving them choices over how they work and where they work, allows us to keep our best talent and ensures we can support them in reaching their potential.”

Working Families is the UK’s leading work-life balance organisation. They help working parents and carers and their employers find a better balance between responsibilities at home and work.
