The fast-growth midcap index - a performance report of fast-growth mid-market capitalisation businesses in the UK, France and Germany

Two new EY indexes rank mid-cap businesses on a combination of sales, net income and market capitalization growth. One covers companies with market capitalizations of €50m to €1b and the other those between €20m and €50m. The indexes and performance drivers for the top-performers are available in this report (pdf, 3mb) - having found ways to manage capital effectively and use their strength to exploit the acquisition opportunities a downturn can create.
