Human Capital - Ernst & Young - United Kingdom

Dedicated to assisting clients on all employment-related issues

In today’s globally integrated, tightly regulated and increasingly competitive capital market, one critical success factor stands out above all others: people.

Get the people issues right and your business will grow from strength to strength; get them wrong and your business will inevitably stagnate, or worse.

Our Human Capital business is focused on people management, and our vision is to help our clients get it right. In all its facets – reward management, global mobility, HR transformation, legislative compliance and much more.

We are structured in three primary business units – Performance and Reward, Global Mobility and Employment Tax.

Business Immigration: Points Based System – A new frontier

Tier 2 of the Points Based System (PBS) came into force on 27th November 2008. This means that, with the exception of Romanians and Bulgarians for whom the work permit system continues to exist, individuals wishing to work in the UK under the employer sponsored route will fall under PBS. If you employ or plan to employ any non EU nationals, the Home Office changes to the Immigration Rules will affect you. Please visit our immigration page to find out more about how we can help you.
