The International Social Security (ISS) Group, based in London is Ernst & Young’s Global Centre of Excellence in relation to the provision of social security compliance and advisory services. We specialise in contribution and benefit compliance and planning on a global basis.

Recent assignments

• Following the outsourcing of social security services to Ernst & Young, one large multinational has obtained first year savings of £5m followed by projected second year savings of over £15m based on the implementation of Ernst & Young global ISS methodologies aligned with specific bespoke recommended planning.

• We have recently been negotiating with several overseas authorities on behalf of a client and an investigation in respect of its internationally mobile employees. Our eventual settlement position resulted in the mitigation of around €50m of potential liabilities.
