Business Modelling Business Modelling supports our clients’ decision making processes and offers the following services: Transaction Modelling – building models or reviewing clients’ models in support of major financial transactions, relating to mergers & acquisition, restructuring, private equity, project finance, securitisation or regulation. Decision Support – bringing a robust decision-making methodology, underpinned by smart modelling techniques, to complex client decisions often involving multiple stakeholders and high degrees of uncertainty, such as: strategic option evaluation, business case development, capital allocation and portfolio analysis, procurement support, benefits quantification and tracking, and physical resource optimisation, including capacity planning, scheduling and resource allocation. Business Performance Management – diagnosing, designing, developing and deploying bespoke solutions for: consolidation and reporting, planning, budgeting and forecasting, performance measurement, business intelligence and data analytics using best of breed technology, including Oracle Hyperion, IBM Cognos, SAP and Microsoft. Economic Advisory – combining economic, econometrics and quantitative analysis skills with deep sector knowledge applied to strategic issues such as regulatory and competition economics, development economics and public policy development including economic impact assessment; business economics including strategic market analysis, value chain analysis, pricing strategy and cost analysis, macro-economic modelling and forecasting, econometrics and price optimisation, quantitative analysis including risk analysis, complex security valuation and hedging effectiveness.
