Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards Program - Utah - Ernst & Young - United States

Each year, Utah region award recipients are selected in several award categories by our independent panel of judges. Final determination of the number of categories and awards presented are the decision of the regional judging panel based on the quantity and quality of the completed nomination forms.

To be eligible for consideration, nominee must be an owner/manager of a private or public company who is primarily responsible for the recent performance of the company and is an active member of top management. The company must be at least three years old.

If the company is publicly held, the nominee has been in the position for three years and has a substantial equity investment (>5%).

Who are the judges? The regional and national panels of judges include entrepreneurs and prominent leaders from academia, business and the media.

What the judges look for in a nominee:

• Strategic decision
• Community/global impact
• Innovation
• Personal integrity/influence

Categories. Final determination of the number and type of categories and awards to be presented will be decided by the regional judging panel based on the quality and quantity of the completed nominations forms submitted. The Regional Judging Panel will place the regional award winners in the most appropriate national category for consideration at the national level.
