Having come from a family of business owners, Hortensia Albertini believes entrepreneurism is in her DNA. Early in her career, she worked for a language-learning company and quickly advanced to become the head of the Spanish Department.
Seeking greener pastures, she proposed her language services to Ford Motor Company. Despite having no office or promotional materials — just a phone and a file cabinet in her home — Ford hired her on a trial basis, teaching Spanish to a group of executives who were moving to Chihuahua, Mexico.
Ford realized that her methods were more successful than its other service providers. This translated into a strong, growing client list for Albertini.
Global LT’s mission has been to provide best-in-class language services to global companies, enabling their employees to live and work successfully anywhere in the world. Albertini’s services include language training, cultural training, translation solutions and expatriate relocation services.
