Honoring world-class entrepreneurs for 27 years

The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year (EOY) awards program is the premier mark of world-class individuals leading world-class companies. It is a competitive award with an independently-governed judging panel and a precise due diligence process that positions it above all others. It recognizes leaders who are driving successful, innovative businesses and celebrates their exemplary performance.

Through the program, applicants can leverage new business, expand networks, broaden and diversify their public relations and media opportunities, and meet hard-to-reach peers with a wealth of knowledge to share. This comes in the form of fellow program participants as well as the program’s distinguished judging panel [comprised of VCs, private equity partners, and other influential business leaders] - many of whom have previously won this award and can speak to its impact on their business. See the Learn More section for a list of 2013 judges.

There are 25 regional programs across the USA that typically generate more than 2,000 applicants each year. Of those applicants, approximately 250 regional winners are crowned in June and move forward to compete for national Entrepreneur Of The Year in November. One (1) national overall winner is then selected to compete for world Entrepreneur Of The Year against 50 other countries.
