The Road to Palm Springs

Reggie Bradford
Founder and CEO
Vitrue
We’ve all heard that entrepreneurs are born, not made. Reggie Bradford, founder and CEO of Vitrue, begs to differ. He built his entrepreneurial and business skills brick by brick at companies like Miller Brewing Company, WebMD and N2 Broadband.
As CMO of WebMD, Reggie was an early pioneer of social media communities, driving an IPO and growing the company from 40 to 40,000 employees. As CEO and President of N2 Broadband, he continued his technology focus, spurring a 40% growth rate and two major acquisitions (TANDBERG Television and later Ericsson).
In those corporate proving grounds, Reggie solidified his own entrepreneurial vision — a social media-based company founded with enthusiasm, ethics and work-life balance. Vitrue is the result.
Vitrue is a social marketing platform that helps brands use social networks like Facebook, Twitter and Google+ to reach their customers. The platform helps more than 500 global companies manage more than 1 billion customer social relationships. Vitrue was the first to work directly with Facebook to develop a seamless Facebook mobile experience and the first to develop a way for brands to integrate Pinterest with Facebook.
It’s this blazing innovation that led Forbes to rank Vitrue No. 39 on its 2011 list of America’s Most Promising Companies.
You might expect this cutting-edge company to be based in Silicon Valley, but Reggie started Vitrue in his hometown of Atlanta. His commitment to Atlanta and strong philanthropic streak have instilled a belief in the power of business to nurture local communities, economies, talent and entrepreneurs to the benefit of all.
