Rhonda Shear
President
Shear Enterprises

Rhonda Shear, President of Shear Enterprises, has a knack for reinvention. A beauty queen, an actor, a comedian and now an entrepreneur — she’s been a success at every turn.

While still an actress, she shined in a number of TV roles, including the Fonz’s girlfriend on Happy Days, a neighbor on Married With Children and an eight-year run as host of USA’s Up All Night. Bitten by the comedy bug, she took her headlining act on the road for 20 years.

Though inarguably successful in show business, Rhonda had an itch to reinvent herself yet again and start her own business. With red carpet tricks learned from Hollywood stylists but no clothing design experience, Rhonda personally designed and created the first eight products in what has become her prodigious line of intimate apparel.

The Rhonda Shear intimates line offers affordable, flattering and comfortable styles designed by a woman for every woman. In 2010, Rhonda pioneered the Ahh Bra, which is now the No. 1 selling bra worldwide, with more than 25 million sold internationally. In the upcoming year, Shear Enterprises is planning to launch swimwear, fragrance and cosmetics lines, along with Rhonda Shear TV, soon to be available on Roku and YahooTV.

As the 2011 Event Chair for ACS: Making Strides in St. Petersburg, Florida, Rhonda met breast cancer survivors who have served as inspiration for a new line of bras. These incorporate ideas from both survivors and medical professionals to accommodate the needs of women who have gone through breast surgery, furthering the Shear Enterprises culture of innovation and reinvention with heart and purpose.
