For our business to be sustainable, we must manage our triple bottom line — balancing financial, social and environmental risks, obligations and opportunities. In our first ever sustainability report for our Americas area, we

Promoting sustainability
At EY, our culture centers on our people. It is focused on living our values as:

These same values inform EY’s sustainability activities locally and globally. We promote economic and social prosperity through transparency and good governance.

This sustainability report for the Americas area, our first, represents another step in our sustainability journey. It is framed around what sustainability means to our people and how we execute it as a business, including how we:

  • Promote transparency and good governance

In the report, we discuss the importance we place on developing our people, because our service to clients can only be as good as our people’s skills, knowledge and abilities. We also discuss our commitment to diversity and inclusiveness, recognizing that differences matter and are a source of strength for our organization.

In our communities, our people help others achieve their potential by focusing on education, entrepreneurship and the environment ― issues that complement EY’s capabilities and that are crucial to the future we share.

We are particularly proud to be a world leader in advising, guiding and recognizing entrepreneurs — from our multinational EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® program to our support of high-potential women and youth entrepreneurs around the globe.

Finally, as the most globally integrated organization among our peers, we constantly strive to improve the quality and consistency of the services we provide.

Our first corporate sustainability report for the Americas area represents another step in our sustainability journey. There is much left to do, but with the help of our people, including new campus hires with a passion for environmental stewardship and supporting their communities, we will achieve our sustainability goals.
