EY recognized as one of the 25 World’s Best Multinational Workplaces by Great Place to Work®
High-performing, inclusive teams that collaborate across borders and service lines are key to our ability to create advantage for our clients and strategies that help them succeed in today’s global business environment. In November, the Great Place to Work® Institute named EY one of the World’s Best Multinational Workplaces, recognizing our efforts to remain the most globalized, integrated professional services organization in mindset and actions.
Now in its second year, the ranking is the world’s largest annual study of workplace excellence and identifies the top 25 best multinationals in terms of workplace culture.
Nancy Altobello, Americas Vice Chair – People, accepted the award on behalf of EY at the gala awards ceremony in San Francisco. She added, “The exceptional EY experience we provide for our people includes the opportunity to work in a truly global and inclusive environment that reaches across geographic borders, cultures, service lines, generations and professional experiences.
Our people can work alongside colleagues and clients from different countries or cultures, take advantage of a range of global mobility initiatives and international assignments, or participate in learning and development programs to establish a global mindset.”
A strong global mindset is embedded in everything we do at EY, from our structure and inclusive, flexible culture to our mobility programs and learning and development opportunities. Nancy Altobello notes, “When people join our firm they talk about how important flexibility is to them, but they don't mean flexibility in terms of hours. They mean flexibility in terms of how they'll be able to develop their career over the long term; how they'll be challenged and encouraged to learn. When we offer them global mobility we give them those opportunities, and when that happens, it builds a sense of loyalty and empowerment in our employees."
EY ranked 12th, the only ‘Big Four’ Employer on the list.
While we are honored to accept this award, we are also inspired to keep innovating. Our efforts to do so will continue to help us attract the best people to our business and build them into high-performing, multinational teams that give our clients, and EY, a competitive edge.
