Our Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) teams work to help our clients make better and more informed decisions about how they manage capital and transactions strategically in today’s changing world.

Commercial Advisory Services

What we do
Our Commercial Advisory Services professionals help clients, both private equity firms and strategic buyers, assess the attractiveness of a target or an industry as a potential investment opportunity.

We take a forward-looking approach to analyzing relevant commercial factors (e.g., market, competitive, customer information) to gain a perspective on the issues surrounding the strategic rationale for investment. Our professionals use all of this information to challenge the assumptions underlying the decisions about a transaction, and provide insight for our clients to make informed determinations about their particular investments.

Who we are
Our TAS teams work with some of the world's largest organizations, fastest-growing companies and private equity firms on some of the biggest and most complex cross-border deals in the global market.

We offer integrated, objective advisory services that are designed to help clients evaluate opportunities, make transactions more efficient and achieve strategic goals. EY's reach is global, with 8,700 transaction professionals worldwide, and experience across all markets and industry sectors. EY firms bring together the people needed, wherever our clients need them, to focus on helping achieve success throughout the transaction lifecycle — and beyond. Who we're looking for
We're seeking forward-thinking, self-motivated and quick-learning graduates to join the TAS team as Senior advisors. To be considered, candidates must have:

  • a MBA degree from a leading business school with a strong background in Strategy/Finance, and a record of achievement
  • experience in strategy consulting, private equity, investment banking, market or quantitative research preferred
  • ability to conduct detailed analyses (using external information) on products, markets, competitors and customers to identify risks and opportunities; a strong aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis, and the ability to link business strategy to performance

 

Operational Transaction Services

What we do
Our Operational Transaction Services professionals help clients prepare and execute an integration/carve-out plan that will identify synergies/sources of value and mitigate risks.

They understand the factors that drive successful integration or carve-out activities, and make it their job to learn about the intricacies of each organization involved in a deal. Using these insights, they leverage the knowledge and experience of their transaction colleagues to help every deal achieve its full potential.
