What methods are you using to gauge physician contentment with, and loyalty to, your organization?

For physicians and hospitals alike, aligning interests has been a long and challenging quest.

Traditionally, alignment was seen as a way to protect or increase market share.

But as US health care moves toward a value driven care and payment system, physician hospital alignment plans that support clinical and financial goals will be critical to managing care more effectively and economically.

High performing organizations will need to develop formal integration plans that better connect physicians to the strategic process, increase their level of influence in decision-making, and advance shared goals for costs, quality and outcomes.
