EY Harvests the Business Value of Insight to Improve Enterprise Performance and Manage Risk at SAPPHIRE® NOW
Orlando, 15 May 2011 – In a presentation at this year’s SAPPHIRE® NOW conference, Andy Rusnak, Americas Enterprise Intelligence leader at Ernst & Young LLP, will outline how aspects of enterprise intelligence -- the application of analytic insight, enterprise planning and monitoring -- are the primary enablers for accelerating the achievement of business objectives. SAPPHIRE NOW is being held May 15-18 in Orlando.
According to Rusnak, C-suite executives need to develop a deeper understanding of their data, information and core business processes to guide strategic and tactical decisions that lead to higher performance. At SAPPHIRE NOW, Rusnak will address the environment driving the C-suite’s need for a new path to business insight, based on several key areas:
- Growth is returning to the market, providing a unique opportunity to gain new ground and capture market share
- Global competition is stronger than ever; organizations need to operate at their leanest and smartest
- Technology continues to be a disruptive force and a strong enterprise intelligence focus will harness that force for the good of your organization.
- In a volatile and highly unpredictable world, Enterprise Intelligence allows an organization to adjust strategy and tactics in near-real time
New technologies are emerging that allow organizations to gain instant insight into business operations, so they can analyze the data and processes that are available and quickly react to rapidly changing business conditions.
“Today organizations demand insight into business operations as they happen,” says Rusnak. “Through the combination of enterprise intelligence and technologies that are being introduced into the market, organizations will be able to make faster, better informed decisions by having immediate access to relevant information. Analytic technologies, business process management and information strategy have converged with business to make enterprise intelligence possible, which further underscores the need in today’s market for this type of thinking.”
“It is clear that enterprise intelligence has been evolving and is finally ready to deliver on its full promise,” says Rusnak. “Our goal at SAPPHIRE NOW is to highlight the importance of Investing in people and processes that ease the navigation of technology, information and data to gain the deeper insights needed to drive business performance in the future.”
