New York, 23 November 2009 – Ernst & Young LLP has been named Best Accounting Firm of 2009 at the inaugural Hedge Fund Manager Week US Service Provider Awards. It beat out four other finalists for the prestigious award at a ceremony at the Jumeirah Essex House in New York.
Judges for the award commented, “One company demonstrated its large footprint in the hedge fund industry, which, combined with consistent growth and focus on the hedge fund marketplace, made Ernst & Young a very worthy winner.”
Awards were presented to winners in 26 different categories of the hedge fund industry at the ceremony. Ernst & Young LLP topped the other finalists in the Best Accounting Firm category, which were: Deloitte, KPMG, PwC and RSM McGladrey.
