Jeff Hecht joins Ernst & Young LLP’s Financial Services Office

New York, 10 March 2011 — Jeff Hecht has joined Ernst & Young LLP’s Financial Services Office as a Partner within its Tax practice, where he will lead tax services for private equity clients. 

Hecht brings over 16 years of tax and advisory experience in the finance and private equity industries to Ernst & Young.  Previously, he was a partner with KPMG, where he was responsible for large and complex tax consulting and compliance engagements for private equity, infrastructure and real estate funds. Hecht advised clients on inbound and outbound acquisitions, operations and divesture of investments, financial modeling and complex partnerships, and corporate tax compliance.

Hecht has a BA in Finance from the University of New York, Buffalo, and an MBA in Accounting from Hofstra University. He is certified as a CPA in the state of New York.
