Our comparison guide examines both US GAAP and IFRS by accounting areas and identifies where the standards are similar and also where they diverge.
This edition includes standards issued as of February 2010. Key updates from the November 2009 edition include:
- Revisions to the consolidations chapter for differences related to changes in ownership interest in a subsidiary without a loss of control and related to the loss of control of a subsidiary.
- Revisions to the income taxes project to reflect the withdrawal of the IASB’s exposure draft.
- Revisions throughout the book to the update the status of convergence activities of the FASB and IASB. We will continue to update this publication periodically for new developments of the FASB and the IASB as well as for convergence activities of the Boards.
