Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards Program in Vietnam

The awards program which is named in Vietnamese “Giải thưởng Ernst & Young - Bản lĩnh Doanh nhân Lập nghiệp” is chaired by Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and co-organized by Ernst & Young Vietnam and Vietnam Business Forum (VCCI’s unit). By holding this world business awards program in Vietnam, Ernst & Young Vietnam and VCCI aim to encourage the best entrepreneurs to step forward as outstanding entrepreneurial role models, and take up the challenge of representing in Vietnam at the Ernst & Young World Entrepreneur Of The Year awards held in Monte Carlo, Monaco in 2012.

With international standard events, high profile and independent judges, professional organizing committee, outstanding nominees, broad and popular media programs, the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Vietnam awards program will be highly recognized among the business community.


EOY country programs

EOY is presented in more than 140 cities worldwide. In 2010, winners from more than 50 countries gathered in Monte Carlo on 3-6 June for the 10th anniversary of the World Entrepreneur Of The Year award. Find out more about the EOY programs.

Meet the 2011 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year winners

Mr Doan Nguyen Duc, the chairman of Hoang Anh Gia Lai Group, was named as the first EOY Overall winner in Vietnam.


Olivia Lum, Group Chief Executive Officer and President of Hyflux Limited has been named Ernst & Young World Entrepreneur Of The Year 2011.

EOY Vietnam 2011 Nominee luncheon

On 5 July 2011, Ernst & Young EOY Vietnam 2011 held a Nominees’ Luncheon comprising of 24 shortlisted top entrepreneurs from Vietnam. This was a great opportunity for top entrepreneurs in Vietnam to meet and exchange their experience in a friendly atmosphere. Although being the first year in Vietnam, the EOY program has become a great channel to recognize entrepreneurs’ contribution to the economic development of Vietnam and encourage entrepreneurial spirit among the best in the country.


EOY Award Ceremony

The EOY Award Gala 2011 will be held on the 8th October in Hanoi. The Award ceremony will be live broadcast on VTV1


The road to Monte Carlo

The 2010 Entrepreneur Of The Year country winners gathered in Monte Carlo on 2-5 June 2011 for the World Entrepreneur Of The Year Award. Each country winner was inducted into the World Entrepreneur Of The Year Academy and vied for the title of World Entrepreneur Of The Year 2011. Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of The Year 2011 Vietnam Awards launch
