We seek truly authentic entrepreneurs. Nominees that can expose the world to what entrepreneurship is all about. Strength, vision, determination to re-shape the business landscape in response to the ultimate global challenge.

Anyone, including employees, company advisors and financiers can nominate a successful entrepreneur. Entrepreneurs may nominate themselves and/or peers. Candidates for the World Entrepreneur Awards are nominated into one of the following three categories.


1. Master Entrepreneur category

A nominee must be a founder/owner (or joint founder/owner), primarily responsible for the recent performance of a company that is 5 - 10 years old and has a turnover of at least $50 million. Founders of listed companies are eligible, provided the founder is still active in senior management. The nominee must own some equity to be considered.

2. Emerging entrepreneur category

A nominee must be a founder/owner (or joint founder/owner) primarily responsible for the recent performance of a company that is 2 - 3 years old and has an annual turnover of at least $5 million; the nominee must own some equity to be eligible.
