Tax ombud
Sean Kleynhans A dedicated ombud for tax matters will be introduced in 2012. The office is intended to provide taxpayers with a low-cost mechanism to address administrative difficulties that cannot be resolved by SARS. If properly implemented and given sufficient powers and independence this should help to alleviate some of the administrative difficulties taxpayers experience with SARS.
