South Africa Young Tax Professional of the Year 2013
How will the South African EY Tax nominee be selected?
The Young Tax Professional of the Year for South Africa will be selected through a two stage process. In the first stage an online test paper based on local tax knowledge, consisting of 20 multiple choice questions and 2 narrative questions will be completed.
In the second stage, candidates will be shortlisted based on the marks achieved for the online test paper as well as a review of their Curriculum Vitae and Academic Record. All shortlisted candidates will then be invited to a one day event where they will be given 45 minutes to prepare and present a case study to a panel comprising of Tax Lecturers, Tax Officials and Ernst & Young Tax Directors. There will be a gala event to close the event where the winner will be announced.
The winner of the South African chapter will then progress to the International competition to be held in Copenhagen.
