EY appoints new Oceania Advisory Leader

Tuesday, 25 February 2014 — EY today announced Bill Farrell as the new Oceania Advisory Leader.

Bill has returned from EYs global headquarters in London where he spent three years as the Global Advisory Talent and Learning Leader. During this time Bill was also the head of the firm’s internal consulting group which was responsible for implementing EY’s global priority projects.

Bill has been a partner with Ernst & Young for the past eight years and has over 25 years’ experience leading large scale business transformation projects.

EY CEO & Managing Partner Rob McLeod said Bill is recognised as a leader in organisational change and talent management.

“Bill is a leader in corporate wide transformations, process improvement and shared services and brings a wealth of knowledge to the role of Oceania Advisory Leader.

“Bill has led major transformation projects incorporating new and emerging technologies and operating model changes for clients from a range of industries including banking, government and resources,” Rob said.

Bill said it is exciting to back in Australia during a time of significant change and opportunity for our clients.

“I am looking forward to working closely with our clients across Australia and New Zealand to manage the opportunities of the current market.

“Where we see real challenges but also real potential for our clients in the coming years is in managing the impact of disruptive technologies, growth through innovation and access to talent,” Bill said.
