EY participated at Caspian & Central Asia Rail conference

EY participated at Caspian & Central Asia Rail conference, which took place on 6-7 December 2017 at JW Marriott Absheron hotel. The event was as a professional platform for meeting rail operators from all over the region, gaining insight into regulatory developments delivered by ministers of railway, discussing options and opportunities with investors and banks, learning more about latest technology from service and solution providers and developing new partnerships with businesses initiated, influenced and concluded on site.
Such trends as how rail operators are transforming operations in the age of digitalization, building new high-speed rail lines, or managing cross-border efficiency and security were highlighted during the conference.
Boris Poretskiy, EY Russia Partner was moderating the panel on 6 December where such topics as reconnecting Eurasia, regional cooperation, funding and financing, digital transformation and others were discussed. He shared: “A great conference that for the first time brought together all key issues and trends of Azerbaijan as a major Eurasian rail hub. The conference also gave a detailed international perspective, with very relevant state of the industry updates”.
