You are invited to compete to win HKD 20,000
Ever wondered what it’s like to manage and respond to a real-life cyber-attack as a company’s C-suite executive during your shareholder conference? Join the EY Cyber Asia Case Competition for this experience, and to compete with selected teams from top universities across Asia, including Mainland China, Singapore, South Korea and Hong Kong, for the chance to win HK$20,000.
The EY Cyber Case Competition is one of the first of its kind in Asia to give you a realistic experience of what it’s like being attacked by cyber criminals, and trying to respond to it in a controlled environment.
The new reality is that companies today are highly likely to get attacked by Cyber criminals, and it is only a matter of time before it will happen. But many are unprepared to respond when it happens. As you embark on your career, understanding the implications of ‘all things Cyber’ will be a key factor to your future success regardless of your business profession. After all, you will be the decision makers of tomorrow, and need to understand the realities of operating and responding in a highly digitized and interconnected world.
- Competition Rules
Throughout the full-day competition, teams will be divided into two groups, and you will work together with your team members (four members in a team) as the C-suite executives of your company to analyze the cyber-attack case, ask the right questions to obtain more information, react to emergency events, and prepare a presentation for a panel of industry leaders on your strategy, and action taken.
The team with the best performance from each group will enter the second round of competition to present on a selected topic which will be given one month prior to the competition for the Final Championship.
Note: EY have the right at their sole discretion to determine whether a participating team is eligible for the event. EY may disqualify, at EY’s sole discretion, participant’s entries (including, without limitation, content submitted in connection therewith) that (a) are in violation of third party rights or law or regulation, (b) use inappropriate or explicit language or images, or display content that EY otherwise finds objectionable.
