Marie is an experienced Assurance Partner with EY's Industrial, Commercial and Technology group where she is also the firm's Audit Compliance Principal and the Technology Sector leader for EY Ireland. She specialises in the audits of large multinational groups and public companies. Marie is currently EMEIA coordinating partner for various Fortune 100 companies where she leads multi-discipline cross border teams, ensuring she and her team provide the highest quality service and the right industry expertise and insights to her clients. Her areas of expertise include Irish GAAP, US GAAP, IFRS, SEC reporting and SOX internal control reporting. Having joined EY almost 30 years ago, Marie is proud to be the Partner Sponsor of the Alumni Network in Assurance.
Throughout Marie’s career she has worked with a wide selection of publicly listed and private companies across sectors in areas such as Technology, Life Sciences, Building Materials, Social Media, Energy and Sustainability and Financial Services. She has also served as a Non-Executive Director and Audit Committee Chair of a leading Irish charity for five years.
Marie is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and holds a Post Grad Diploma in IT Applications from Dublin City University.
