Orlan currently serves as EY Global Client Service Partner of Thermo Fisher Scientific, and also as Senior Client Partner and Senior Advisory Partner for a number of EY G360 Accounts – the firm’s most important global clients.
He has spent the past three decades serving in senior leadership and board roles in business, media, politics, public service, nonprofits and philanthropy as a senior partner and executive. He has held various senior life sciences and health care leadership roles where he has advised on some of the largest mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and spins in the health care, life sciences and consumer health sectors. He's worked with a variety of global, national and regional CEOs, C-suite executives and corporate board directors and private equity and venture capital firms in the health care, life sciences, consumer, and technology sectors.
He holds a BS in Finance and International Business from NYU’s Stern School of Business.

Orlan is building a better working world by being a passionate and committed social entrepreneur. He has launched various award-winning social change and impact ventures in publishing, documentary and feature filmmaking, civil rights and philanthropy. He is a passionate advocate for mental health and is a Vice Chairman of The Trevor Project Board of Directors.
In 2014, he was appointed by President Barack Obama to the Global Board of Governors of the United Service Organizations. He is a member of the Partnership for New York City, Partnership Innovation Council and the Partnership Fund Healthcare Advisory Board.
He co-authored “The Strategic Side Gig,” published in Harvard Business Review Magazine and in HBR’s 10 Must Reads On Career Resilience book.
