Spencer Hsu

Associate Partner, Private Tax Services, EY Corporate Advisors Pte. Ltd.

Experienced in tax planning for family offices. Well versed in operational, governance, succession planning, philanthropy and other family office matters.

Spencer is part of the EY Private Tax team in Singapore providing comprehensive services to family offices in areas such as tax compliance, trusts, succession planning, family governance, operations and philanthropy.

He previously led a team responsible for the development of Singapore’s wealth management industry as Deputy Director at the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). The team’s responsibilities included assessing tax incentive applications for family offices.

From 2015–17, he was based in Beijing, China as a representative at MAS’s Beijing representative office.

Spencer holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences (Hons) from the National University of Singapore, where he majored in Psychology.
