Helping employees make a difference
In collaboration with Pro Bono Lab in France, EY is making it easier for employees to use their knowledge in support of growing social enterprises.
We are very pleased to have been selected to benefit from EY’s experience. The day was well organized, at a tempo that helped us be efficient all day long. It’s very nice to work with people who have a real open mind and an impressive ability to absorb the issues of a specific topic.Joseph Ingargiola, Director de l'association, Les Potagers de Marcoussis
All over the world, we’re seeing the rise of the “purpose economy” — a world marked by people’s increasing desire to do what they do in the service of something bigger than themselves.
Recognizing that not everyone can give their time to support long-term projects, the EY member firm in France is collaborating with Pro Bono Lab to give EY people the opportunity to use their knowledge and experience to make a difference, without having to make an extensive time commitment.
Pro Bono Day is a program through which diverse teams of EY people can devote a single, intensive working day to advising mission-driven organizations in need of professional consulting services to help them overcome barriers to growth.
Seventy people from seven different service lines have come together during 2016, supporting projects that will expand the impact of organizations dedicated to causes as diverse as youth employment, entrepreneurship, social inclusion, disability and manual skills.
