The Base Erosion and Profit Shifting initiative of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development, along with the State Intercompany Transactions Advisory Service (SITAS) program of the Multistate Tax Commission (MTC), has prompted more states to focus on transfer pricing transactions between members of a US consolidated group.

Consequently, companies that have historically viewed themselves as not having transfer pricing issues given the federal consolidated return rules must now prepare for the possibility of state challenges to their intercompany transactions.

To assist these companies, our panelists will examine how to respond to this heightened state interest in transfer pricing. Other issues to be discussed include:

  • A history of state transfer pricing
  • How taxpayers and states deal with federal Section 482 audit adjustments
  • Current state audit activity
  • The MTC’s SITAS program

During this live, interactive webcast, you will have the opportunity to ask questions through the website, and the panelists will answer as many of your questions as time permits.

This program will be of interest to vice presidents/directors of tax/state and local tax/international tax/transfer pricing/global trade, directors of finance, CFOs, international tax managers and tax accountants looking for the latest practical information and guidance to support their global business initiatives. We hope you will be able to join us.
