EY has been recognized as a leader in digital supply chain planning and design consulting by ALM Intelligence in its Competitive Landscape Analysis: Digital Supply Chain Planning & Design Consulting report.

EY is the only one of the recognized leaders to be cited as “advancing” in the ALM Vanguard report, which assesses consulting providers’ capabilities and in-depth knowledge in the areas of supply chain, digital technologies and client industries. ALM also highlighted EY’s business-driven transformation approach as one of EY’s key differentiators.

Andrew Caveney, EY Global Lead Partner Supply Chain and Operations Leader, says:

“Technology-based disruption is transforming supply chains across sectors as companies strive to meet the challenges of improving performance in the face of global competition and today’s highly connected world. As a result, organizations must rethink their supply chain strategies and operating models. EY’s holistic approach to digital – across service lines, sectors and geographies, enables us to help our clients rapidly adapt and seize new opportunities even in the extremely complex environment in which they operate.”

Brendan Williams, Associate Director, Lead for Digital Consulting Research, ALM Intelligence, says:

“EY has formidable depth of expertise in supply chain management and in operations management consulting. These are the principles on which EY has built its foundation for its digital capabilities in these areas. Instead of coming up with a wholly new approach to the market, EY integrated its digital capabilities with existing strengths in supply chain management. This is typical of the firm’s integrated approach across its global operations and service lines, and is one of its strong points.”

According to the ALM Vanguard report, EY is distinctive for its prominent role that alliances and acquisitions play in its delivery model, especially in relation to the global alliance with P&G, which is of particular importance to the firm’s activities in digital supply chain planning and design. The report noted that these are advantages that would be difficult for other companies to replicate and they help EY to differentiate itself from its competitors.

Additionally, EY was named a leader in digital logistics consulting by ALM Intelligence in its Competitive Landscape Analysis: Digital Logistics Consulting report. According to the report, EY displays greater depth in its capabilities and maturity of its offerings in the logistics network visibility and digital inventory traceability category. ALM notes that EY also benefits from its strong ties to leading players and deep sector-specific knowledge in industries such as freight and logistics, retail and fast-moving consumer goods, and large industrial manufacturers, which are among the most important sources of growing demand for digital logistics consulting services.
