Recognizing that low-income people in Mexico lacked an outlet for purchasing affordable eye glasses, Hugo Ladislao Moreno founded Opticas Ver de Verdad. Today it operates a chain of eye-care shops across Mexico.

With a strong background in the aviation industry, Denise Wilson founded Desert Jet in 2007 with the intent of bringing corporate flights together as a cooperative to streamline operating expenses. Desert Jet, which has grown more than 600%, is a full-service aircraft management, charter and maintenance company.
