We are currently seeking a candidate for the position of Senior People Team Coordinator.

The Senior People Team Coordinator is responsible for providing direct support to the Cayman/Bahamas People Consultant and supplemental support to the Bahamas, Bermuda and Cayman Islands (BBC) People Team, on all HR matters and will be expected to contribute to the effective and efficient execution of processes that include; recruitment and selection, preparation for the orientation of new hires, relocation arrangements, preparations of contracts and work permit applications. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing timelines and coordinating and supporting logistics for People events and/or processes.

Essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Supports and coordinates the administration of HR processes and programs
  • Gathers data and may provide routine summaries/reports for various reports and coordinates/supports local office or Area projects
  • Handles special people projects as assigned
  • Assists in communication flow to and from clients and triages information as appropriate to the People Consultant or other HR team members as appropriate
  • Acts as a liaison to the Shared Services Center to ensure effective service delivery on processes such as on-boarding/integration, HR policies and procedures, reporting, separation, etc…
  • Must exercise discretion and integrity when dealing with confidential matters

Required Skills/ Experience/ Attributes:

  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation and listening)
  • Ability to use advanced functions of MS Office and Lotus Notes; prior working knowledge of HR Databases and systems would be beneficial
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively, while maintaining attention to detail
  • Ability to build rapport and forge personal connections with people in order to develop long term working relationships
  • Strong teaming and cooperation skills
  • Proven troubleshooting skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong administration and organizational skills
  • Overtime will be required during peak times and can be expected on an as needed basis.

To qualify, candidates must have:

  • An Associate or Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Approximately 3-5 years related experience
