Q4 2007 country attractiveness indices

The Q4 2007 country attractiveness indices provide scores for national renewable energy and biofuels infrastructures, and their suitability for individual technologies. The latest editions include a focus on the rush to respond to climate change, insights into the cleantech financing gap and a look at the US Energy Independence and Security Act and EU Roadmap.

A new regulatory era for utilities

How are compliance programs structured, implemented and managed? A survey of 95 US companies, including 12 utility companies, conducted by our US member firm identifies best practices and provides a benchmark for industry participants to measure against their own approaches to corporate regulatory compliance. What alternative energy means for utilities

Interdependence among the world’s politicians, energy producers, and customers is helping drive the utilities industry to turn to alternative energy (AE). Thought Center webcast

Energy markets are changing all over the world, affecting all major energy users. This Thought Center webcast was broadcast on 10 December 2007, where the panellists and audience discussed EU versus US utility policy and key issues for consumers, and the EU’s Third Package and the potential for a pan-European energy regulator.
